CIVIL ASSET FORFEITURE
The State of Indiana may try to take your liberty as part of criminal case. Occasionally, however, that isn't all they try to take. The State may also try to take your property by filing a Civil Asset Forfeiture case, wherein the State tries to take your property because they claim it was involved in criminal activity.
These are civil litigation cases that can present a very different set of issues than a criminal case. Rigney Law founding partner A. Kassi Rigney represented the State of Indiana in these cases for over 2 and 1/2 years. She has the experience and the will to defend your property in these cases.
